Why are my branch background color settings removed when I change the map view?

Since the top-down and left-right views both use preset colors to indicate the current level in the map, all color settings are removed when changing the map view. This cannot be prevented and we recommend settling on a final map view before applying any background colors or other design elements.

Icons and attached resources are not affected by map view changes.
