My Mediator 8 projects won’t run on Vista

Some projects are not able to run on Vista without having Windows XP compatibility set. To configure the project to run, do the following:

From “My Computer”, right-click the CDROM and choose “browse” (or if using Direct EXE, just find the EXE file).

There are two EXE files in the CDROM folder (one if you used Direct EXE); right click these files and for each one, choose “properties” and go to the “compatibility” tab. In the first selection field enable compatibility settings and choose “Windows XP Service Pack 2”.

Click OK and run the project which should now run perfectly. This needs to be done on all computers that have to run the project.

Mediator 9 is not affected by this issue.
