My mouse pointer turns black in recordings

If your color depth in Windows is set to 16 bit some platforms will record the mouse pointer as an entirely black shape. To fix this problem you need to increase the color depth from 16 bits to 32. This can be done by right-clicking the desktop and choosing “properties”, then going to the “advanced” tab. On Vista this is done by right-clicking the desktop and choosing “personalize”, then in the bottom of the list pick “display settings”. Change the selected color depth and restart ScreenCorder and the mouse pointer’s colors should be recorded.
