My Word 2007 document has no table of contents

When using MindView 3 and MindView 4 to export to Word, special entries, like the table of contents and footer information, are inserted using data fields. Upon opening the document in Word, usually you are asked whether or not to update these fields, and answering “Yes” here will then insert the proper information.

However, some Word installations are configured to disregard this and just assume that the user don’t want to update the fields. In those cases you have to rebuild the table of contents yourself – this is done by clicking the “Update table”-button in the “Table of Contents”-section, found on the “References” tab on Word’s menu interface.
Alternately, you should be able to do it by hitting CTRL+A (“Select all”), and then F9 to rebuild the table.
