When using exports to HTML or Flash, there may be problems using the “upload” button to upload the project directly to an FTP server.
Some FTP servers (in combination with certain clients) have trouble initiating data connections – login will usually work, but no transfers start. Usually this is caused by the client computer using a gateway with Network Address Translation (NAT) for Internet access across a LAN. If you are experiencing that the upload manager does not work (it hangs, as if doing nothing) you should download and install a third-party FTP client which can circumvent the hanging symptom when connecting through a firewall or gateway.
There are numerous FTP clients available.
