Why are my Media Player objects not showing in HTML exports?

A recent patch to Internet Explorer by Microsoft has interfered with objects in Mediator that use the <object> HTML tag. The patch was released in January of 2006, and will not be present on browsers which have not yet been updated.If you have a project that uses Media Player objects in HTML export mode you should download the file that is linked below. Place this file (md8lib.js) inside the Program Files – MatchWare – Mediator – html folder – this will include the updated file in all future exports.

To correct an already exported project you only need to upload and replace the md8lib.js file (or ie_md8lib.js for Mediator 7) which is placed in the root folder of your project. This procedure will allow you to fix the problem without having to re-export the entire project.

You must extract the file once it is downloaded.
