How to create a log file in MindView?

In some circumstances, you may want to create MindView log file. 

To proceed please follow the steps below: 

Method 1:

1. Make sure MindView is closed.
2. Press and hold the CAPS LOCK key while launching MindView.
3. Once MindView is open, release the CAPS LOCK key.
4. Use MindView as usual or try to reproduce the problem faced.
5. Close MindView.
6. Open Windows File Explorer and type %temp% in the address bar to open your user temporary files folder.
7. Search for a file called MindViewx.0.log (replacing the “x” by the version number, for instance MindView9.0.log).

Method 2:

1. Run the Registry editor: type regedit in the Windows search box and select regedit.
2. Browse to the MindView Options folder: Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\MatchWare\MindView 9.0\Options
3. Create a new DWORD (32 bit) value called MakeLog and give it the value 1.

4. Launch MindView.
5. Open Windows File Explorer and type %temp% in the address bar to open your user temporary files folder.
6. Search for a file called MindView x.0.log (replacing the “x” by the version number, for instance MindView 9.0.log).
