When I try to use the “Open” option, MindView crashes

If the software has been pushed out by remote deployment and you encounter a problem using the “Open” option to open a saved document, then it could be that an option in your group policies has been disabled.

This is a rare bug which has been fixed in Service Pack 3 for MindView 6.

Please upgrade to Service Pack 3 to resolve this issue.

 

If you are unable to upgrade you copy of MindView then you can  resolve the issue by following the steps below:

Step 1: Go to “Group Policy” -> “User Configuration” -> “Administrative Templates” ->  “Start Menu & Taskbar”.

Step 2: Enable the group policy “Do not keep history of recently opened documents”.

Once this policy is enabled, the issue should be resolved.
